Key Job Responsibilities: ·
- Coach and develop a team of high-performing SDRs (Outbound) This includes mentorship and oversight of all deals through the qualification process and meeting team goals for pipeline creation.
- Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to drive account-based strategy and continuously meet qualified opportunity and pipeline goals & create a well-oiled pipeline generation machine
- Spearhead all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals for US and Global market.
- Candidate should have experience of building, leading and managing a team of Inside Sales OR Sales Development within an organization.
- Publish go-to-market strategy, set up product & services positioning for target Customers and End users to own and achieve Business Revenue goals.
- Offer necessary product knowledge and technical expertise translating into successful sales.
- Coordinate with sales team to develop selling tools for presentations, demos and trade shows.
- Scale existing sales development playbook for effective prospecting and best practices
- Assist sales through calls, web-based presentations, or personal meetings to maintain product positioning and strategies.
- Handle in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors, and market conditions.
- Conduct workshops / trainings for team members to educate on latest technology products, market trends, etc.
- Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
Skills and Experience Required:
- Total 8-10 years of relevant “sales development” or “Inside sales” experience in IT, ITeS, SaaS and B2B environment
- Usage of Salesforce as a CRM and any Marketing Automation (Pardot OR Marketo OR Eloqua OR Hubspot) is preferred
- Proven track record in managing a team at least 8 people in various geographies
- Familiarity with any Sales Engagement platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, Gong, Wingman and Sales Productivity platforms etc.
- Familiarity with any Contact Discovery platforms such as ZoomInfo, DiscoverOrg, RainKing, Insideview, Leadspace etc.
- Strong leadership and team building, mentoring and coaching skills
- Experience managing and improving Sales Development KPIs
- Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
- Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- A history of consistently performing above team quota and being able to forecast accurately
