Things to do at Dreamforce 2017 #DF17

Dreamforce 2017 is expediently held in the Moscone Center at San Francisco – California this year which gives all the marketers’ and techies a chance to learn about technology and enjoy an onslaught of music concerts, parties and other events. You’ll get everything you need to prep you for Dreamforce right there, from building the perfect agenda and connecting with fellow ‘Trailblazers’ (as the Dreamforce team likes calling them) to discovering learning opportunities and San Francisco’s most beautiful hike.

This massive tech conference, organized by Salesforce, virtually brings down the San Francisco city for the better part of next week beginning: November 6 to 9. Since SMARTe is one of the “Exhibitor” sponsor this year, we thought of preparing few tips for you to keep in mind while you’re there.

Get your booking well in advance

Considering the huge number of people attending Dreamforce, chances are you’ll need to book your hotels and travel programs well in advance so that all things are in place before you can start focusing on the event agenda

Graphics that go Boom

If you’re a sponsor, make sure to create interactive graphics around your booth design that sings praise about your products/services/customers and speak for themselves. It not a hard sell once the visitors resonate these important bits

Acknowledge peers and setup conversations

Be pleasant, make eye contact, smile, wear clean & ironed outfit which portrays your company’s standing amongst the crowd. A good & charming personality goes a long way in being the ice-breaker. Once you start the conversations, stay in touch for knowledge sharing and helping each other in any way shape or form

Party hard

After a long day of sessions and meetings – the real fun begins! There are numerous sponsored parties where simply your event badge can get you access to open bars and parties at extravagant locations. Salesforce also hosts its own concert “Dreamfest” every year and this year’s performers are Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz. The concert has hosted some pretty big names in past years, including the Foo Fighters, The Killers and U2 last year.
